FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is Permanent Makeup tattoo? Does it hurt?
Permanent Makeup (also called Semi Permanent Makeup) is tattoo. Though it will fade over time, it does not wash off with soap and water.
Permanent Makeup is performed specifically to enhance or restore the features on the face, such as eyeliner to enhance the eyes or brow strokes to restore the brows to their former shape. The color palate consists of soft earth tones.
Because the skin on the face is thinner than on the body, needle depth is shallow and therefore comfortable for the client. First, a topical anesthetic is used to insure the greatest comfort level. Then the pigment is applied by the SofTap hand method (non electrical) of Permanent Makeup. Many people compare the feeling to having their eyebrows tweezed.
What if I don't like it?
With Linda, you will take active participation in the process. First, we discuss your needs and desires. Second, the correct color is chosen. Third, with a pencil, Linda draws the form on your face. This allows you to see the final result before it is actually applied onto your skin.
How long will it last?
There are many factors that cause pigment to fade. The biggest being the sun. Protect the pigmented area with a sunscreen of at least SPF 15. If well taken care of, your Permanent Makeup should last 2-6 years.
